About Us
Building Blocks Day Nurseries was birthed from a long-standing passion and love for child development which resulted in me pursuing a career in Early Childhood. Through completing an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Studies BA (Hons) I then went on to undertake and complete a Masters’ Degree in Education (MA in Education). I then went on to gain my Early Years Teachers Status (EYTS) and still currently work for a National Initial Teachers Training Provider, training, mentoring and supporting students whilst they are studying towards becoming Qualified Early Years Teachers.
Having 3 children and experiencing difficulty securing quality childcare made me want to create opportunities for children to achieve and be given a strong foundation on their learning journey in the Spalding area.
We aim to serve children aged 3 months to 4 years old with high-quality day nursery provision which prepares and equips them with the skills they need to achieve well in primary education.
Our staff are committed and well-supported to nurture and provide high quality provision to your child and family.
The Building Blocks practitioners are all fully-enhanced DBS checked, qualified and highly skilled in their approach to your child’s holistic development. We invest into our staff and support them in developing and perfecting their craft and ensure they are kept up to date with the latest training.
We believe that communication is key to an effective partnership with our families and we value you as the most important people in your child’s life.
Our skilled and qualified chefs provide fresh, healthy and scrumptious cooked meals in our spacious on-site kitchens. Our chefs will work closely with families to ensure all dietary requirements are catered for.
