👁️‍🗨️ Learning about opticians helps children:

Understand the importance of looking after their eyesight 👀

Become familiar with visiting the optician, reducing fear or anxiety

Recognise that help is all around them in their community

From trying on glasses in role play to reading stories about eye tests, these activities lay the foundation for healthy habits and a respect for helpers that lasts a lifetime.
