About Us

Building Blocks Day Nurseries, Holbeach opened in September 2023 and is fully registered with Ofsted. Our team are fully qualified and experienced and have a wide range of expertise.

Our Holbeach setting is based on the Holbeach and Fleet border on Branches Lance, PE12 7BE. We care for children from 6 months to age 5 years old. We are open from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday all year round.

Our overall capacity on our premises is 101 children.

· 15 place baby suite,

· 25 place toddler room,

· 32 place pre-school room,

Our workforce is committed and passionate about providing a great service to all children, parents and carers!

We care for children from birth to aged 5 year old. We offer a variety of full and part time places! We also offer an excellent Pre-school with a variety of free Early Years Entitlement (EYE) 15hr & 30hr Free sessions for 2, 3 & 4 year old children. We have a car-parking facility and 2 large playgrounds on our property.

TRACTOR OH TRACTOR 🚜

As part of our Transport month, we had a tractor come by the Spalding nursery where the children were able to speak to the driver, sit in the cabin and wheels and beep the exceptionally loud horn!

The children enjoyed their learning coming alive and we want to say a massive thank you to our friends from @dmj_drainage for allowing our children to have such a great time!

CHINESE NEW YEAR The children had a wonderful day

CHINESE NEW YEAR

The children had a wonderful day of activities celebrating Chinese New Year last week.

The day included a tuff tray activity with chopsticks to support their fine motor skills development - good work everyone and a classic Chinese New Year story during circle time.

The children were treated to a Chinese lunch and were given the choice to use chopsticks - this was loved by everyone with some excellent attempts!

The day also included a group art activity designing a dragon where the children had to demonstrate team work, collaboration and decision making. They were given choices of colours and gave their own opinions on what they would like to do.

The day ended off with singing classic Chinese New Year songs and some crazy dancing!

A massive thank you to our staff team for working so hard to make this happen for all of the children across our sites.

Opening Hours

Monday to Friday – 8.00am to 6.00pm

Non-Funded Sessions

8:00am – 1.00pm

8:00am – 4:00pm

8:00am – 6:00pm

1:00pm to 6:00pm

We offer term time only or all year round sessions.

Funded Sessions

We offer a variety of flexible funded sessions for you to use your funded hours. We will share our funded sessions with you at your tour.

We run an optional holiday club and parents can book the holiday club on an ad hoc basis or as part of their child’s yearly plan.

Note, the nursery school is closed on Bank Holidays.

We accept 15 & 30 weekly funded hours!

We offer flexible sessions for you to utilise your 15 or 30 funded hours per week in our nurseries.

2 Year Old EYE Local Authority Funding

2 Year Old 15 Hours for Working Parents Funding from April 2024

3 & 4 Year Old Universal 15 Hours
